If he had given up his job to take of five children, I'm sure there would
be
many here who would say he was lazy and a freeloader, the children should
be taken away because he wasn't providing for them, how terrible that an
able-bodied man was staying home when he had a wife who had taken care of
the children for seven years who was at home all day, and how dare he stay
home just because something "might" happen. No one lives by what "might"
happen, Sandi. How would you propose he stay home to look after them when
he then wouldn't be able to feed or clothe them?

We just have to agree to disagree on this one. Obviously I feel he was
responsible for their physical safety above all else, and you feel that
there were other considerations. I *might* go crazy and start drowning
people in my house before I manage to get through this darned bar exam, but
if I go off the deep end this afternoon and slash my wrists or something,
it's logical to expect that it's just a bit more likely then, don't you
think?
