Yes, but that is little comfort to the victims.My point was that you seem to put so much responsibility for people's
personal safety on the police and they are somehow deficient if a crime is
committed. There is plenty of blame to go around when a history of domestic
violence results in someone's death, but unless the police have been truly
negligent - i.e., not answering emergency calls and the like - none of it
can reasonably be assigned to them.
