Or leave and get some protection, or leave and go to a shelter for a while. There are options. They don't always sound like a lot of fun, but when you have to maintain your safety, sometimes life gets a bit inconvenient for a while. It's unfortunate, but it's just life, and life isn't fair. In the end the choices are to continue to be a victim, or to take control of your situation.

"There are no victims, only volunteers"
