That makes sense - the heatwave moved in and it just got hot a few days
after the ants moved in. It's been relatively mild here this summer. In
fact, yesterday was the first day I really needed an AC in the living room -
I just had one in my office.
I'm convinced too. ;-)

Thanks for that tip, Ed. It had worked for me years ago, and I totally
forgot about it. Just today, I have discovered that a ton of ants have
made
my kitchen their home. It's driving me nuts because there's simply no
food
there, either laying around or in the cabinets! Perhaps they're waiting
for
me to go food shopping so they can have first dibs on the good stuff.
