What boggles my mind is the following, which I knew I heard on TV last
night but figured my ears were failing me or my sense of comprehension.
If the whole area is only as big as CA, what the heck are all these
Americans doing there, and now on TV, being rescued by helicopters,
planes and ships, are mad that they have to pay for passage so the
government has waived it. I guess I just don't understand...
U.S. EVACUATION TEAMS ARRIVE IN LEBANON
ST. PETERSBURG, Russia U.S. security teams landed at the American
embassy just outside Beirut on Sunday to plan the evacuation of some of
the estimated 25,000 U.S. citizens living in war-torn Lebanon.
