Re: Air travel carry on restrictions - what's next?

Thankfully AA says nothing about restricting computers today, (to Belize)
but I also think that is coming. Lots of people will be up a creek, so to
speak, if that happens.

I'll be at the airport about 3-1/2 hours early today, so I hope that's
adequate. I'm so glad I upgraded to first class with miles so that I can
comfortable sit in AAs "Ambassador Room" at the airports.

See ya'll when I get back, unless I have time to read and post through
Google, which I hate.

Thanks for the good wishes for safe travel (in another thread).

I envision a lot more people driving due to more carry-on
restrictions. I don't necessarily want to be able to use my computer
on an airplane, but it's an expensive piece of equipment and I don't
want to leave it to the luggage handlers, either.

And since most car keys contain an electronic device nowadays, what
are we supposed to do with them once we get to the airport? Put them
in our luggage and check them through?
