Unfortunately, it isn't even limited to make up. They use hair pieces,
false eyelashes, and even false teeth that slip on over their own. Add to
that the airbrushed photographs, the back biting and sniping at the
pageants, and you wonder why any woman in her right mind would put a child
through that.

A child is not put in a beauty pageeant so that she can win an award
for an essay or a science project or some contribution she has made to
her community.
