Re: Break in the JonBenet Ramsey case

I'd love to agree - except for fact that some of those kids (athletics) are suffering from eating disorders etc because of the expectations pu on them.

I personally think there is a BIG difference in competition for a beauty pageant for a child that age and gymnastics (this is healthy) or ice skating. I cannot even think of any similarity. Putting heavy makeup and making a small little girl into an object d'art in that manner to me is inviting trouble and makes me feel that the mother wanted to live through her child, but she started way too early.

Maybe it did, but we aren't really sure of that yet - as this "killer" may be in question. What about parents that have their little girls as competors in gymnastics, ice skating? Not much different.

that woman **was** most likely not in her right mind.

I never understood how Patsy Ramsey or ANY mother that would exhibit that type of parental guide unless it was just for the money, but I don't think they needed it.

It cost her little girl her life but I am not sure Mrs Ramsey ever truly understood that. I am assuming she hurt inside as to what happened to her child, but sometimes some people cannot see the forest for the trees.

As far as the guy they arrested, he seems to me more like a kook than the murderer, but I could be wrong and I hope I am because I like to see cases of this nature solved and the perpetrators receive their just rewards.

and you wonder why any woman in her right mind would put a child
through that.

Bingo. That woman is most likely not in her right mind to begin with.
