Numbers....

How many of you are actually typing sentences such as...

She is on Flagyl right now and has been on it for a couple of days. She
has had no chills, but she may have had a low-grade temperature 1 day.

That will be a week or 2 before her surgery.

I am finding it is actually causing me to blink in shock at times. It
just goes against everything I was ever taught grammar wise. I'm
curious as to how many of you just do it or ignore it and do it the
"old" way.
