Braggin' on Arkansas again.


I must be easily impressed, but I *am impressed.*

Car tags expire tomorrow.

In days gone by, renewing tags took hours. Standing in line, standing
in another line, and standing in the cashier's line. The employees were
ill-tempered and not helpful at all. It was much, much worse before that
system, back when everybody's license for anything had to be renewed 1/1
- hunting, driving, fishing, car tags.

I just renewed on line. Set my timer. 58 seconds!!!!!

I'd done some footwork, admittedly - had to have my odometer reading,
so I had to go outside twice for that (once to look at the odometer,
then back to the house for the keys, as you can't see the odometer
without starting the car, DUH).

I love it. I just love it. I used to take an entire afternoon off work
to do this.
