Re: This thread disgusts me

I can't believe I'm going to say this (not meant in a bad way, but I
rarely agree with Becky), but I have found this troll to be
particularly distressing, at least the venom as of late, and it has
affected how much I have been around. Not that anyone would really
particularly care, as I am not a long-standing member, but I don't
think I could possibly be the only one who feels this way. I used to
only post via Scribera, but won't be doing that anymore as I had my
work e-mail registered there, and I really have no way of knowing if
that kind of information could be obtained, so no more of that,
throwaway account only now. Count me as one of those who is not
particularly tech savvy. Unfortunately, I know a lot of members here
have exposed private information that could be used to the troll's
advantage, and I cringe when I see somebody caught in this freak's
crosshairs as Neal has apparently been the most recent target. Cursing
and casual insults don't bother me all that much, but, honestly, just
to open this thread up and know what the opening post says makes me
disgusted in a way I have rarely ever been disgusted before. I am
really happy I made the decision to not expose very much of myself for
just that reason; had there been some private information for this
animal to use against me, I'm sure he/she would have back when my name
was in the subject of a thread. I really wish there was some way to
beat this jackyl at his own game, but I'll leave that to people who
know how to track people. Maybe they'll go away and maybe they won't,
but I'm not gonna sit around and wait for it to happen. I've got other
pastures to explore.

I don't know anything about Ed Gmys or what he did, nor do I need to
know, but I really think this new troll is from India.

I hate to see you defend somebody who was just blackhearted mean. Yes,
his trolling ran people off, because it's the choice of most people not
to want to associate with a social anomaly like a person who hurts for
the pleasure he gets from hurting. That's not the way real people are
built. That's somebody with a screw loose. It's supposed to be in our
nature to help, not deliberately hurt.

It's up to you - I'm not attempting to tell you what to do. I'm just
telling you that yes, a troll can rot a group from the inside out. It
makes people go elsewhere.
