Re: Wal*Mart generic drugs plan

And I believe the "government" (I.e. supposedly the people collectively) has
no right to enforce or dictate private personal decisions such as with whom
I live, or whether or not I MUST have a child, or what consenting adults do
in the privacy of their homes.

If the government does have that right, then so-called "freedom" is a
mockery.

Since I've never voted on any of these issues,I'm not pushing anything.
I do believe everyone has the right to one vote, even Christians, and I
would hope everyone who votes would vote according to their conscience. I
am not entitled to pass laws, ergo I cannot make anyone live by any
standards, mine or anyone else's.

The government decides what will or will not be law. They are the ones
who
count the votes and make the decision. My one vote isn't going to change
the laws of this land, but our government does have the right to make
laws,
even if they are offensive to some (and I would guess most laws are not
liked by at least some of the population-I for one hate the seatbelt law).
The best defense against laws we feel are inappropriate would be to vote
your conscience as I would encourage everyone to do, even those with whom
I
disagree.

mine.
