But now we just found out a pilonidal cyst doesn't necessarily mean one
can't get into the service - the difference is?

IMO, regardless of whether or not Michael J. Fox goes off his
medication to highlight the effects of the disease, it was wrong of
Limbaugh to denigrate him and the effect the disease has had on him.
He'd be more credible if he'd just address the issues.

Michael inserted himself into the issue and made himself part of it by
going off his meds to manipulate public sentiment.

Rush was unnecessarily nasty. That is true.

However, it did make people sit up and take notice and wonder if there
really was smoke where there was fire AND THEN learn that Michael isn't
innocent of all wrongdoing.

Unless we're claiming that Parkinson's makes people manipulative and
deceptive, Michael's actions are now part of the issue whether he meant
them to be or not.

The difference is choosing to have excisional surgery prior to enlisting.
In addition, that surgery needs to be succesful, which is not always the
case with pilonidal cysts.

What's your point?
