IE 7/ Outlook Express question

I installed IE 7 this morning and can't figure out how to get the mail
icon back on the menu bar that allows me to compose mail when I'm in
Explorer. When I do tools, toolbars, and then customize, I only get a
"read mail" option that I can add. (I have no problem with the icon on
the status bar on the bottom that alerts me to new mail.) I've done an
extensive Google search but don't see this problem addressed. What am
I doing wrong? (By the way, if it matters, I have Outlook Express).

Thanks!
