Yes, but the cops have a choice: they don't have to be cops. They can
quit any time they want. And of course now we have learned the
recruiters have been lying to people telling them there's not much
chance of going to war and that if you want to get out it's pretty easy.
Well, if anyone joins the service and expects it to be a free ride, they
are certainly dense IMO. It's not called the armed forces for nothing.
That doesn't excuse the recruiters for lying but they;ve been lying for as
long as I can remember.
