Kim, I very purposefully brought up both offshore outsourcing as well
as speech recognition technology to the reporter who interviewed me as
specific examples of how the importance of what we do is being
marginalized by the pressure to cut costs. I used your words almost
verbatim to warn about the dangers of trying to save money by
eliminating the safety net we MTs represent. Unfortunately that part
didn't make it into the news story.
