Re: Metroscript

PS - forgot to say - I just download it like any digital file and can play it in Express Scribe

It's not bad. Perhaps not as clear as my personal client with dss files, but I don't think it would be a problem. I think they are now charging 15 cents/minute for dial in. They are wave files.

I log in and then there are filters you can change. For example, if you had four dictators you could ask it to show only new voice files or new voice files for just Dr. X. Shows who uploaded (Dr. X) and who downloaded (which MT). Same for files at are uploaded and complete. You can mark for review or final, etc. There is a flat monthly fee, but I believe it was around 15 bucks for basic and if your use was less you'd not pay more than that. Then there is apparently higher level where the website appears to be your business.

I looked at this last year as well and decided it would not work for me
at that time. I'm glad to hear a good report on it, however, as I'm
pretty unhappy with my local phone service for business lines, and I
would sure just like to get rid of them altogether. My guys right now
are all phoning in dictation. So, what about the sound quality of the
files? What software do you use to access it?
