Only last summer did I ever hear a deer make a sound. I didn't know
they did that! It's called "bleating" and I guess that makes sense, it
is a bleat. It's a sound I've heard all my 30 years on this place and
didn't know what it was till a doe I was watching in the field turned
her nose up in the air and did it.
