Argh!!!

Picked up a bunch of tapes from an office. All workers' comp record
reviews, 4 full tapes of them. I'm thinking "Ka-ching!!!" Then I get
home and put the first one in the machine. It's recorded on the 1.2
speed, and the new dictator - yes, a new guy, too - sounds like he's
standing in a cave speaking with a scarf wrapped around his mouth.

Argh!!! I hate this! This is gonna take me at least twice as long as
usual to do these. I did call the office and let them know that there
would be a delay in returning the work to them because of the lowered
quality of the recording. Fortunately, this is the same office I was
able to negotiate with earlier in the year when they wanted me to give
them the legal mumbo-jumbo at no charge, so they understand about this
and will speak to this guy about using the 2.4 speed even if it means
using multiple tapes.

Just had to vent on people who understand :-) Now I'm off to see if I
can decipher these things.
