to meet in China in September 2007. "

Further down in the letter, it continues:

"This delegation will learn about the public health and tertiary care
systems of China, methods of data capture and documentation of
healthcare encounters, and the emerging technologies associated with
these processes "

Next, it says:

"Our delegation will depart for China from Los Angeles on September 16,
2007. Following our professional and cultural program in Beijing, we
will travel to Guilin and Shanghai for further professional and
cultural exchange. We will arrive back in the United States on
September 28."

After talking about being able to bring a spouse or guest, comes the
kicker:

"As People to People Ambassador Programs is a private-citizen effort,
delegates are responsible for their own program costs. The estimated
cost per delegate of guest is $4,995.00 USD."

I think I'll pass, even though it was nice of Peter Preziosi and Vallie
Piloian to think of me in this way.
