I've had extraordinarily good luck with USPS over the years, in more than one location. I hope I never run into the problems you guys have!

It also varies from place to place. When we lived in NJ in a little town we had a very conscientious postmistress and we had really excellent service for the 27 years we lived there. Not so in any other places we have lived.
