Well I did not know you went on the Australia trip. I wanted to go on
that one but I did not have the money, but I do recall Bonnie Monico
sending out emails requesting $1.00 donations from folks in order that she
might go. That ticked me off because I wanted to go...I believe Bonnie
went. Inasmuch as it ticked me off, I knew Bonnie and told her that I was
not going to contribute to that being that I wanted to go myself. She's a
good ole gal though so glad she got to go; I just would not send out
emails of that nature.
Now, I really have no desire to go to China though. If I paid that much,
it would have to be someplace else.
I am getting ready for my honeymoon (belated) this week. Will be leaving
for Maui and will stop through Las Vegas for 1 night on the way out and
come back through Oakland and stay there 1 night. We will spend 3 days
out in Las Vegas on the 19th, 20th and 21st plus half a day out there on
the 22nd and fly back late afternoon on the 22nd.
That will be a nice long trip and hopefully a relaxing one. It is
possible we might even want to stay 2 nights in Oakland/SF area and might
change our flight to reflect that on the way back.
Finally the honeymoon comes. I thought it never would! I wouldn't want
to go to China even on my honeymoon though!

Give me a break. People to People has been around for 50 years. If
you guys would take a minute to check them out, you'd see that they
are not some fly-by-night shysters trying to relieve you of $5000.
Whether you decide the trip is worth it for you is another story, and
I won't get into debating AAMT's participation in it, but let's try to
be just a little bit more objective here, OK? I posted last week (and
last year and the year before) that I went on the Australia trip
through P2P, so it's not as though they are an unknown quantity.
Margie, who doesn't consider herself a "poor sucker" by any stretch of
the imagination

Vickie, I also got the second letter. You can call me a cynic, but
there are too many scams out there nowadays.an
This might be legit, but there is no way I would send $500 to
organization I've never heard of before.
Yeah, that's the second one I got too.
You're right, but I'll bet they'll find some poor suckers who
fall for it, though 8-(
