I am now transcribing for an NP who thinks that "orthopod" is a correct

She has a master's degree but no clue as to how to construct a simple
sentence or to clearly express what her thoughts are.

I don't know whether to go strictly verbatim and let the crap hit the
fan or to continue to expend incredible amounts of energy into trying
to make sense out of what she dictates.

Don't ask me why our office hired an NP who has no experience in
cardiology or internal medicine. She couldn't punch her way out of a
primary care bag, much less be effective in dealing with our often very
ill patients.

Not only is she clueless, but she seems to be overly motivated with
making money. She is scheduling unnecessary follow-up appointments
just to keep her schedule full. I guess ignorance and greed are not
mutually exclusive qualities.

Bad morning, Ed? On a side note, there was an article in our newspaper
about how one of our high schools had a 98% graduation rate. Sounds great
unless you've actually seen what passes for high school graduate work
sometimes.

Well, it wasn't a bad morning until I began to transcribe her
stream-of-consciousness dictation.

I had to take a break to vent on SMT.

Where else would people understand?

ed, not really liking being referred to as a "junior member" on Scribera.
