Had a doc once who used orthopod all the time. Checked Dorland's before I
changed it, and, sure enough, there it was. If they hadn't listed it as a
word I'd have changed it, but since I found out he could verify it, I
didn't.
Sometimes I wonder how people like NP even get through school. My sister
and I have a standing joke about how to produce a drug. She says her way
is right because that's how the doctor pronounces it. Yeah, we all know
they know what they're talking about.

I am now transcribing for an NP who thinks that "orthopod" is a correct
term, and that is only the tip of the iceberg.
She has a master's degree but no clue as to how to construct a simple
sentence or to clearly express what her thoughts are.
