I've had it for years. I know it needs to be seen to.

You're lucky it hasn't killed you before now! GET YOURSELF TO A
STUDY--PRONTO!

Doug had a CPAP machine. He used to not wear it, particularly
if he had a lady friend
over for the night or if anybody was going to be around. >

Who the heck is Doug, and why doesn't he use his CPAP *every time
he closes his eyes*? It's not going to help him if he just uses
it every now and then. You *MUST* use it every single time you
sleep, or you're just spinning your wheels; you wind up undoing
everything you've worked for, up to that point.

I have seen him sleep without that machine and it was horrible.
Gasping, sighing, pursing lips, whistling, then total apnea and
start
the cycle over again - the machine was nothing compared to that
racket.
And besides, it blew lovely cool air into the room. :)

Sounds as if he has an old machine. I got a BiPAP three months
ago, and you can barely hear the thing running. DH got a CPAP
two weeks after I got my machine, and his is even more quiet than
mine.

Two fat sleep apneics + couch + boring movie = rough night.

It ain't gonna be funny if those sleep apneics die in their
sleep!

GET MOVING TO THAT SLEEP STUDY!
