Re: canine headaches?

That's what I wanted to know? What are his symptoms? Ear infections are
very common in dogs and cats--could that be it? What is he doing that make
you think so? A dog's physiology is NOT that similar to a human's so that's
misinformation right there. A pig is the closest after the chimp families.
I worked as a vet assistant--but mostly equine, but have friends who are
canine/small animal vets. I know dogs dream. I have owned probably more
than 20 or even 30 dogs over my lifetime and I have never suspected
headaches in any of them. My last Dobey with lymphatic cancer had symptoms
that might indicate headaches, but she also had visible symptoms indicating
the lymphatic cancer (swollen glands that caused respiratory problems). If
there is pain in the head I would be apt to suspect some type of tumor or
growth causing pressure of some sort.

I've been suspecting that one of our dogs occasionally suffers from

see if I could find anything on the subject.

I didn't have much success finding much info, but one of the sites was a
sort of trivia site where a question is asked and people send in their
answers.

The question was:

"Do dogs suffer from headaches?"
The first answer posted was:
"They probably do since their physiology is quite similar to ours"
The second answer posted was:
"Only when male dogs are asking for sex"

Cute, Ed. So what else did you find? What made you suspect your dog
was having headaches?
