OT - Washer and dryer combos


Soon I'll be in the market for a new washer and dryer. The old dryer is
giving up the ghost - so loud I can't hear myself think at times.
Anyway, someone pointed out to me that there are now machines that wash
and dry in one unit - no unloading. Just looking quickly on line, I
found there are some that really aren't all that expensive, but Thor
brand for 1500 or less and free shipping.

Has anyone had any experience with these? It sounds like a good idea to
save time and space. No more forgetting to toss the clothes in the
dryer. This time of year I often just air dry with wood stove going,
helps humidify and saves electricity, but sometimes you just want to
start them and go.

Now.... if the can get one that also folds....
