Are you saying her life-style
was conducive to good parenting or that those things I
mentioned are,
indeed, acts of good parenting?

What was displayed in public is what, about maybe one-tenth of
her actual
daily life. How do you know what happened behind closed doors?
All you
know is what you saw. I wouldn't hesitate to think that you
would be
crying foul if someone judged you and your parenting skills,
christianity,
whatnot based strictly on maybe one-tenth of your total life.

You never caught any of her TV shows, did you, Jeannie?

I used to flip through the channels and land on her show every
now and then. Every single time, I'd shake my head in disbelief.
I remember thinking to myself that she wouldn't be long for this
world. I also wondered how that boy could be exposed to the
stuff he was exposed to--just from show, if nothing else.

Anybody remember the feud over J. Howard Marshall's body and then
his ashes? One of the reporters mentioned that a couple of
nights ago. Seems they fought over his body (deja vu, huh?)
after he died. ANS and the family had separate funerals. Then
they fought over the ashes. The judge split the ashes. ANS
didn't even bother going to get her share of his ashes--until
five years later, when she got word that the Marshall family was
petitioning the court to get her half of the ashes.

I think it'll serve them all right if there's no $$$ to be had
from J. Howard Marshall's estate.

I do hope there's some way that Birkhead winds up being the
biological father and gets the baby, though. I think he truly
wants her--and has been petitioning the court for paternity since
before she was born, as I understand it.

What a circus!
