update on Roxie!


Good news!

Since we stopped feeding Roxie the canned Pedigree, she hasn't had a single
one of her episodes!

I've been cautious of getting my hopes up because they've been dashed
several times, but it has been almost three weeks now that she has been
fine.

She was a very sweet and sensitive dog even when she was sick, but her true
personality, which is now freely coming through, is just a wonderful thing
to see.

I've been feeding her a combination of cheap hamburger and dry food. She
has really responded to that regimen. She put on some weight and her coat
is shiny and healthy.

Best of all, she is now the puppy she was meant to be, and we could not be
happier with her recovery.

I want to thank all of you who gave me emotional support and advice on diet,
epilepsy, etc. It has meant a lot to me and I am very grateful. I'm not
sure that the issue would have been resolved without your help.
