IIRC if you used Purine ONE lamb and rice doggie chow, it wouldn't have the objectionable stuff in it -- at least not much.
I looked at the Costco brand stuff, and it has either byproducts or animal digest (which really could give *any* animal seizures if not worse...) way up on the list. And Purina ONE is not *that* expensive.
