If Nina's phone is busy for 2 hours, I am in the car on the way over.
When she still drove and we didn't talk every day, if I couldn't get
her on the phone and I would drive over there, I was always so happy
to see the car gone because then I knew she was out and not lying dead
on the floor. I know I am a drama queen, but I was, and still am a
little worried about being the one to find her gone because there is
only me and she is determined that she is going in her own home. I
guarantee you if it happens, it won't be three years since the last
person saw or heard from her.
Of course, now that she has recovered from her mastectomy, she is more
liable to find me than me find her. She is back to kicking ass.
