Hi Barb,
Great to hear your daughter is being well looked after now, which every
patient deserves - even more so in your daughter's circumstances.
Cheers,
Julie from Oz

but none of knows that was the case as none of us were there. As I
stated, and not meaning to sound mean, they could have always called
the office and said they were running late. I did ask if the office
refused to see them
that day and refused to reschedule or just refused to see them right
away
but I didn't get any response.
Jeannie,
I'm just now catching up on reading all the posts and having time to
respond. Yes they did offer to reschedule with the NP later in the
week. With a doctor it would have to be the following week. As I said
originally, a drug rep happened to be in the office waiting area and
witnessed the whole scene. She followed my daughter out to help her and
gave her the name of another ob/gyn practice who she called for Tracy
right there in the hallway and had an appointment for her with the
doctor the following day. Tracy had that appointment and is very happy
with the new doc and office. She did write a letter to the insurance
company, cc each of the 22 docs in the practice (they have about 12
locations in the Pgh area) and cc the PA Medical Board and the PA
Insurance Commissoner.
