I might be tempted to give it a shot, but the pickins are extremely slim

The last guy who asked me out was an old high school boyfriend, now an
alcoholic, who would call me when he was drunk and say the nicest things,
then not remember any of it when he was sober. Pretty nice guy, but wayyyyy
too much baggage for me to deal with.
Now I have three new men in my life ... Walter, a calico rabbit; Harley, a
black neutered Nubian goat; and Owen, a brown neutered Nubian goat. They
don't drink, snore, or womanize, and they're always glad to see me! On the
other hand, we can't go out to dinner or the movies ... LOL

Bambi: No, do it! Don't listen to me, it's fun. Kinda. :\
I have never dated when I was "free" like I am now: An adult, on my
own, all the decisions are mine. That is too much power for me,
honestly. I liked it better when I was afraid of getting
pregnant/getting a disease/being "used"/being "found out" and all that
rubbish. Now it's all up to me and I don't have a lick of sense! I have
a 16-year-old's brain in the body of an adult.
I am going to give my mother a heart attack yet.

Becky,
I just read this thread backwards before I found your story. I was
just thinking....
Anyhow, someone told me that the online meeting sites were dangerous
for men. That didn't make sense to me until he explained. He said he
knew of two different men who had spent thousands of dollars on women
they had met on the internet - one has never met the woman yet.
I looked at one of those sites that popped up on Classmates. It
looked kinda interesting, then the e-mails started coming, amazing!
With me changing internet providers, I guess the stuff is going to be
unread.
Does anyone else look at Classmates. It has become one of my favorite
sites. Have made contact with many friends from 45-50 years ago. If
anyone is crazy enough to look at my 'then and now' pictures, I
graduated from Roswell High School, New Mexico in 1957. Fifty year
reunion coming up this October. It doesn't seem that long ago.
