Re: Wanna Mirra

I was reading that about the size fit on the chairs. So I got to be
fitted? For that kind of dough, I guess I should. Thanks, Margie,
for the excellent tip! For my butt, I guess I better order a large.
I'm 5'5" and I ain't publishing my weight! LOL

I have an Aeron and wouldn't part with it for any amount of money. I
bought the size small (after getting a medium and not liking it), and
it took about three weeks to get it adjusted properly, during which
time I was afraid I'd made a huge, expensive mistake. I would say
they run large -- I'm 5'4" and 145 lb (well...maybe 150 now). I'm not
familiar with the Mirra but happy to hear that HM is a good company
per your recommendation. I bought my Aeron on line from a company in
(I think) Tennessee that had no sales tax and free shipping -- I think
it was about $700. I did go to a local dealer and choose my size, and
I think their price was closer to $1200. So it does pay to shop
around, but I wouldn't advise buying a used one or one without a full
factory warranty. I think it's warranteed (sp?) for 12 years. You
won't regret it.

I have read on this NG the wonderful things about the Aeron chair by
Herman Miller, though the cost sure seemed like a bummer to me. LOL

After transcribing a presentation by the Herman Miller company, my
interested is now piqued.

I am quite impressed with this new Herman Miller Mirra chair, which
comes in colors. I see that they sell these items on eBay as well as
other Internet sites. I would really like to SEE the chair up front
and close.

Do these chairs have to be purchased online? If I am going to spend
that much money, I sure would like to sit in it.

There are some other features about the chair which really struck a
cord with me, in this day and age of global warming, et cetera. I
like this company.

Is there anyone here who forked out the bucks for a Herman Miller
chair and regretted it later? Just curious. I mean, I figure I sit
in the blasted chair for so many hours of my life, I might as well sit
in the Roll Royces of all chairs. ;>)
