When I was hired, I was 100% upfront-- I'm a graduate student and I work a

"I received my handbook" or if I add a line that says I don't agree to the
employment clause.
What I have done was to tell them that I would be happy to sign something that allows the reasonable exception that I want, and explain why.
But call your state department of labor and the Georgia one, too, and ask if they can legally require you to sign a new employment agreement after you have already been hired.
