Need a Laptop with Windows XP or 200

I finally treated myself to a delux new laptop, first one I have ever
owned, only to find out that I can NOT use it for the purpose of which
I bought it..... to type for my part-time job and not sit in the same
chair after typing for my 8-hour full-time job. The problem is my
part-time job is not compatible as of yet with Windows Vista....
Aaaaaaaaah, now I see where others are having the same problem. So
much for "day late"?? Anyway after much probing and inquiring, Geek
Squad has told me that it is in fact, NOT possible to remove Vista and
load XP or 2000.... So, my question is.....Where can I find a
reasonably priced, dependable laptop with XP or 2000... And before
anyone says to try e-bay, I did and got royally ripped off..... Will
never use e-bay again, unfortunately. Thanks for hearing me vent,
everyone! :o)
