Word Perfect 5.1 glitch

I won't go into all the details of the problems I've had with WP51 and
PRD+ (running XP Pro) since I had to change my video card a year or
so ago. I've managed to mitigate most of the glitches, but the one
that remains unsolved is that when I am near or at the right-hand
margin in WP51, if I use the hyphen it will sometimes shut down WP and
I will lose whatever is unsaved up to that point. It doesn't happen
every time, and I'm not sure if there's an exact cursor position that
triggers it, but it happens enough for me to identify that it is
indeed the hyphen that seems to be triggering some problem. Does this
sound familiar to anyone?
