Well, we are getting closer and closer to finishing our new house. It's
hard to "get it" from the pictures I have so I thought I would post a link
to the plan here. We modified it a bit - put it on crawlspace and raised
the trusses so we have a second floor, so just imagine the whole bottom
floor with almost the same amount of space upstairs. It's like we got a
whole 'nother house just by raising the trusses. My son got his FROG for
a
playroom, my DH got his media room (over the kitchen/breakfast area and
sort of into the living room area), I got my scrapbooking/craft room (over
our bedroom) and we have a HUGE unfinished room that we will finish once
we
close and sell our house for his pool table, foozball (sp) table, or he
will turn that into his media room with the stadium style recliner/couch
thingies. We also extended bedroom #3, which is my son's room about 3 feet
into the back, which gave me a bigger covered porch on the back. I am so
excited because the downstairs can actually be kept neater with the bare
minimum in the living room and the bedrooms are just bedrooms. All the
junk can go upstairs so I don't have to act like I'm not home when
somebody
knocks (JK) I hope nobody thinks I am bragging (got nailed by a "troll" a
few times via email last time I posted about some good things going on in
my life).

I never figured out what the original layout was designed for, but we had it set up for a master bedroom, a child's bedroom, a living room that functioned also as my dad's office, a formal dining room, and a small maid's room off the kitchen. ...
