MT isn't
exactly something you can fight to the death about, given that
we have
an accepted standard.

She and I had a round over on Dani's LT/MT/GT (Google) board
awhile back. Interestingly, the point of contention in our
exchange was over punctuation in court transcripts. She
disagreed with my choice of legal references. I use *Morson's
English Guide for Court Reporters*, AAERT's study guide, and
*Gregg Reference*. I believe she said she uses Diane Castilaw's
*Court Reporting: Grammar & Punctuation*. When I chose to go
with my references, things got carried away.
