You know what, I was thinking about this when I went back to work and there is a procedure where they use a graft with a proximal anastomosis at the subclavian or axillary artery and then it runs all the way down the side of the torso down to a femoral.
I've only seen one of those in my whole life, and the dictation above still doesn't really fit that scenario, but just maybe that is what they were describing.
Prolly not, though.
