I know of one solution for laundry soap that you may be interested in. I haven't tried them myself, but hear they're really effective and non-allergenic (and no perfumes at all). They're called soapnuts, and all you do is toss them into the wash (instructions included), and your clothes will come out really clean, no scent on them at all, and they aren't all staticky (sp?). Heard about them through NewsTarget, here's the website that tells you all about them and you can purchase some.
