Wireless routers don't always do that well. I am VERY limited in how far I
can take my laptop, and I bought an expensive booster to add to my wireless
router. I now can take the router to the porch, but not out by the pool,
and my son had to hardwire his connection in his home which is just a few
feet from ours. If there is not a lot of distance involved a wireless
routed is fine.

Use wireless routers.

I currently have a 4-port Linksys Wireless-B router.
However, I need to know how to grow beyond that.
Currently, during the day I'm on 2, sometimes 3, computers
simultaneously.
My daughter is working from home right now too-
And my phone is VoIP.
If there are 3+ computers going, the phone doesn't work.
So do I buy a bigger router? (Is there such a thing?)
I was happy that I figured out how to network the house using THIS one!
HELP! This is creating a HUGE issue for me and I need to fix it today if
I
can!!
