Yes, she can. I do this with a digital account who sometimes throws an
occasional tape my way. She can use an audio cable from the headphone
jack on her transcriber to the microphone jack on her computer. Go to
File, Transfer from Portable, Audio Cable Method. Then press play on
the transcriber and it will begin the digital recording. Once the
dictation ends and gets quiet, it ES automatically stops the recording.
She can then send it from ES to you. HTH

Rae's got a point regarding the resulting big size of the voice file
using your transfer method with ES.
I haven't tried your method, but when I opened my ES and went to "File,
Transfer from portable, etc., etc .......," I did not see any manual
controls to convert and save the transferred voice file as, say,
TrueSpeech (which is a tiny size), or my favorite .... GSM voice file
format which has excellent compression, clarity, and small file size.
I use Wavepad made by the same people who gave us ES. You can digitize
the voice file from your analog recorder to your computer using
Wavepad. Wavepad gives you choices to "Save As."
In my case, I save my analog recording using Wavepad and "Save As"
GSM, which is small enough to be emailed, but retains its clarity.
