Re: Can anyone make a living at 8 CPL?

I never made much more than 8 cpl during my whole MT career. I did
make a bit more briefly towards the end. The point of what I'm
saying, though, is that I made a very good living the whole time I was
doing MT, without making much more than 8 cpl. Granted, I didn't work
for myself; I subcontracted or worked as an employee for services, but
I was always able at that rate to make a more than decent hourly
wage. Hourly-wise, in fact, I'm making less now as an attorney!

Everyone's definition of "living" on 8 cpl is different. If you're trying to keep up with the Joneses, it won't be enough. I could be happy with 8 cpl.
