Well, this past year has been a busy one for us. Most of you know we got a
horse for my son in Jun and that has been FANTASTIC. So much so that we
are in the process of getting another one and possibly a third (if we can
find a Belgian or Belgian cross at a good price). I have been IN LOVE with
horses since I was a young child so this has been a dream come true for me.

We also made the decision to homeschool our son this year. Lots of reasons
really but just felt it would be better for him. We chose the same
curriculum his school uses ( A BEKA) so that in case he decided he didn't
like it and wanted to go back to school 2nd semester he would have learned
everything else his classmates had learned so far in the year and/if he
wanted to go back to school in 4th grade or whatever grade, he would've
learned everything that everyone else in his class at that school would've
learned. We are really excited and so is he.

We'll be moving into our new house soon too. We are hoping to get the CO
(certificate of occupancy, what you need in our county before you can get
power from the pole to the meter on the house and can even store anything
in it) next week so we will begin the moving process once we get that.
Only one house separates our present house from our new one so the move
won't be that far. However, I think it would be better if we were moving a
distance where we were forced to box and pack everything. Nothing is
packed around here and you cannot even tell that we are about to move
except for all the "new house" stuff in boxes in my dining room. LOL.

Anyway, it's been a busy summer but it's been great all the way around!!

Congratulations, Jeannie! It sounds like a lot of exciting changes.

The worst move I ever made was over a distance of less than 2 blocks.
Jeeminy, talk about disorganized!!! Plus, I was pregnant at the
time...and it was Halloween... I really do think we moved one sock
per trip. It sure seemed that way, anyway! Take my advice: Get some
boxes and start packing like you were moving across the state. Your
life will be ever so much easier!!
