Thanks for the info, Julie. A transcriptionist that purchased a C-Phone
from me told me about it and asked my opinion.

I compared it with a small service just doing a couple of doctors. Buying a
Dictaphone Straight Talk system (hopefully from me) and getting a couple of
800 lines would be a little cheaper, but probably more hassle for the
service. (About two-thirds the cost the first year, but less than half the
cost after that.)

It is a rather interesting choice for, as you say, a small volume user.

I have used it in the past and it works very well. Just a couple
things to remember...

Going over your minutes is very expensive.

Buying a bigger block of minutes can be expensive because it's very,
very difficult to tell exactly how many minutes you are actually using
in a billing period. Their online system reports the last 45 days.
Personally, I think that's on purpose but that may just be the cynical
part of me.

There is no audio header and you get no information text file about
the job.

Other than that, it works great for small volume accounts.
