The minute I read the post all I could think of was horses and girth sores
which can happen--fairly common if you don't tack up the horse properly! I
always would pick up the front leg and pull it forward so the skin under the
girth would smooth out, as a girth sore is quite painful to the horse. I
thought it was funny to describe a person with "girth pain." However it is
somewhat descriptive but not something I would expect a doctor to use!

Of course, this is what they want and this is what they get. But I'd like
to know if there's another way to look at this that could make sense and
