Try placing an ad in your local PennySaver type paper asking for yarn
donations. So many people have unfinished projects or otherwise unused
craft supplies they would happily donate to anyone who wanted the stuff.
When my daughter was moving, she donated most of her unused craft supplies
to a church.


My mother enjoyed all kinds of needlework. When she died, I gave all of her
equipment and supplies to a Senior Center. The main thing is to spread the
word that you can use any unwanted yarn for your charity projects.
