I've worn glasses since I was about 13 and I have never lost a pair. I can't
see to take one step without them, so they're always within reach or on my
face.

If that happens I would say it's probably time for a new prescription:).

The problem for me is that when I misplace my glasses I can't see well
enough to find them.
