Crap! I would absolutely NOT give it to my daughter until they had some
long-term data on it. This is way too scary. They give it at a young
developing age. Who the heck knows how this will affect them. How about a
vaccine for boys, you know the carriers? It is always let's test it on the
females bodies, let's screw them up first! Sorry, but I find it amazing!
If this was a vaccine to prevent boys from passing HPV to females the damn
thing would be tested for 20 years before released in case it messed up the
jewels!

if it was my kid it would be 100%!! I was so pissed! I had never heard

that until it happened to my son. Then, when he was around 7 years old
there was a story on 60 minutes about it and a kid who was permanently
paralyzed. Anyway, I digress, I am just cautious about all this "jump
for
joy" over vaccines, especially this new one for HPV for young girls.
They
have no idea what this does to them. Great if it prevents cervical
cancer,
but what about their development, giving it at such a young age. No long
term studies, etc. Scary and haven't there been some deaths from it
already?

How scary. I agree, the "small" number of adverse events doesn't seem
to be of any particular concern unless it is their child falling into
that number. I had never heard of that either.

As for the HPV vaccine, you can count my niece as one of the stats
that fits into their syncope category, which doesn't seem to be of any
big concern. She even passed out again 2 days later playing softball
and says she hasn't felt right since.
